Drove out past the Holberry sculpture walk, as they were mowing the lawns Rachel couldn’t go out, but daddy and kids walked through. Nice gardens and some interesting art, some more impressive than others (i.e. hunk of wood in a weird shape).
Continued through to The Berry Farm. This is great. Well priced products, plenty of samples, great play area for the kids.
After sampling may products, bought some jam and wine.
Continued through to Margaret river where we stopped for some lunch at Riversmith, which was a great setting and made for a good lunch stop.
Drove remainder journey to Kerriley Park Farm stay, arriving at 2:15pm.
Kids enjoyed exploring and very excited to wait for uncle Michael and family to arrive
Found a playground and a pool, which was very exciting (as we had forgotten there was a pool)
Did some shopping and had BBQ dinner.
While cooking saw 2 small horses run past, called out the kids to see then. Then saw a couple running after them, followed shortly after by the owners! Tuned out they had escaped (apparently for the first time in history). They soon came back when food was offered.
