Had breakfast and played games at the accommodation
Frist stop for lunch was Boston Brewery, where we arrived for 10:30am. Was quiet and could readily get seating adjacent to the playground.
Unfortunately they also allow smoking in the outdoor area next to the playground! (Rachel also checked with the manager who advised people were welcome to smoke there…)
Furthermore, the food wasn't particularly good, and the options were limited. Steak burger was average, the medium steak was very well done. Would not rush back. Playground wasn't too bad though and the kids enjoyed. Also nice setting.
Decided to go to the beach, Greens Pool. Seems everyone had the same idea as it was busy with limited parking. Kids were very keen to go, even asking that we don't stop at the chocolate factory on the way so they could get to the beach.
Played for a while in the water, kids enjoyed being dragged on the body board along the beach. Makayla was particularly keen to see how far out we could go where she could still stand (which was quite a way given the shallow nature of the sheltered area). Very glad we went good location for the kids.
Went for a walk over the rocks to Elephant Rocks (just an outcrop of large rocks).
Drove back to the accommodation, Ethan falling asleep on the way.
Back at accommodation, after brief down time (Ethan still sleeping) Makayla and daddy went and helped feed the animals. Makayla did great with this and got into it.
One Alpaca had a hard time with the pellet food (apparently they were trying something new) and ended up semi chocking and vomiting a lot making quite a scene!
Back at accommodation, Ethan woke up. We played some games, then lots of chaise on the grass.
