Drove out, stopping briefly at Glenoran pool on the way
Arrived at 10:30am at Fonty's pool missing main peak about an hour later.
Kids enjoyed the water, but not so keen on the organic matter on the bottom that gets stirred up. Floated around on a tube for a while (we could all fit on one), and waded with the kids (carrying them as they were not at-all keen on standing).
Had picnic lunch at the pool.
Following message in the morning from nanny, arranged to meet with the Alison at the parents farm, and drove over, brought some cherries on the way from a far next to Fonty's pool which were amazing to bring.
Saw Alison and the kids plus Christian. Kids had fun collecting mulberries and running around playing chasey in the trees. Stayed for a couple of hours.
On the drive back, stopped back off at the fruit farm to get more fruit and drove back to the Accommodation (Ethan sleeping the whole way, although on arriving insisted he was just shutting his eyes..!).
Made a cheese, biscuit and fig platter that daddy and kids enjoyed on the decking. The owners have a visitor (presuming their daughter) with her 4 year old daughter, kids had lots of fun running around playing together with her.
We tried the chestnut fed bacon, however didn’t find it to good… bit dry and not a lot of flavour.
Had dinner on the decking listening to the cows next door which despite being a long way off and out of sight are very noisy.
